Artist of the Week / John Dominis

                    I like the innocence that is shot in this photo, very simple and youthful feel to it.
                         I like the edginess in this picture by the black and white photography,
                                                        as well as the cheetah on a leash.

Colorizing Effect

Step 1: Pick a picture that is a close up. Generally, the picture should be a person but you can pick anything.
Step 2: Once the picture is opened up in Photoshop, go to the right side to a little icon that looks like a graph (Properties)
Step 3: Properties will open up on the right side, adjust that level of light to make the face/object light. Try to make only slightly lighter.
Step 4: Go to Layer-->New Fill Layer-->Gradient
Step 5: Click the rainbow gradient
Step 6: Go to the right, under Layers. You will see the word "Normal". Click on that a scroll all the way down to 'Color'.
Step 7: Once opened, adjust the angle to whatever position you like; Note: 90 degrees, 180 degrees and 360 degrees will be perfectly horizontal or vertical. In between those numbers, you will have a more slanted effect.
Step 8: Flatten image and you're done!

Artist of the Week/ Julius Shulman

I like the contrast in the darks from lights as well as the angle it was shot at.

                 I like the simplicity of this picture and that its taking a picture of a man taking a picture.

Jumpology

Artist of the Week / Andy Warhol

                I like the odd way this picture looks in terms of his style and dark color choice.

                                         I like the quirkiness that this picture demonstrates.
